This Cookie Policy explains how Control AI (“Control,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our websites and web applications (the “Sites”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. They help the Sites function, remember preferences, measure usage, and keep you signed in.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar storage for:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication sessions (e.g. Supabase / identity provider tokens), security, load balancing, and core app routing. Without these, sign-in and the dashboard will not work reliably. |
| Functional | Theme (light/dark), UI preferences, and choices you save in the product. |
| Analytics | If enabled on your deployment, aggregated usage to improve performance and reliability (we do not use third-party ad networks in the default product). |
When you click Accept on our banner, we treat that as consent for non-essential cookies we may add in the future, in line with the banner text shown in the app. Essential only keeps strictly necessary storage for operation.
3. Third parties
If you embed payment, analytics, or support widgets, those providers may set their own cookies. Their use is governed by their policies. Review your integration list (e.g. Flutterwave, Supabase-hosted auth) in your deployment documentation.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login or break real-time features. You can change the in-app banner choice only before accepting; to reset, clear site data for our domain or delete the control_cookie_consent_v1 entry from local storage (developer tools).
5. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
6. Contact
Use the same contact channel as in our Privacy Policy for questions about cookies.
Note for legal review: Map this list to the actual cookies and storage keys your deployment sets (Supabase session storage, theme provider, any analytics IDs).
